This panel will discuss the importance of a new unique short course for the screen industry on neurodiversity which was piloted by ACE at UCC and Screen Ireland in March 2022, why it’s important, and why now in particular.

About the course

This is a unique short course for the screen industry.  UCC is the first university in the world to run a course like this. It is a 12 week level 6 online course on ‘Continuing Professional Development Cert in Neurodiversity for the Screen Industry’, which was designed, with a neurodivergent film practitioner (& academic), Screen Ireland and University College Cork Adult Continuing Education – (ACE), delivered wholly online by a neurodivergent lecturing team.
