IADT is hosting a Panel discussion on the UN International Day of Older Persons 2022 theme of ‘Resilience & Contributions of Older Women’ on Thursday 13th October at 12.30pm, IADT Library, Lunch and tea/coffee will be provided.
This discussion entitled ‘Invisible lives: where are all the older women in film and TV?” is organised by the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design + Technology (IADT), Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Team, with opening address by Councillor Mary Hanafin, Cathaoirleach Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, WGI board member & Chair of the Equality Action Committee Dr Susan Liddy (Mary Immaculate College, Limerick), renowned actors Rosemary Henderson and Carrie Crowley and moderated by Rebecca Roper (IADT) – promises to inform, invigorate and inspire all present.
