Screen Ireland are among a number of national film institutes that are teaming up to launch the European Writers Club (EWC), an EU-backed initiative to increase collaboration on high-end series projects across the continent.

In a first-year pilot, the EWC will host three sessions, each consisting of two one-week camps. The Boosting Concepts Session is led by the Series Lab programme of the TorinoFilmLab; its camps will run from April 11-16, 2023 in Dublin, then May 30-June 5 in Galicia, Spain.

Writers and creators will be paid for their participation in both sessions.
