As you know, the AV Content Group (RTÉ, TG4, SPI, SDGI, WGI, SCGI and Animation Ireland) have been working together to convince the Government to introduce the content levy as soon as possible.

It’s a discussion on the potential for the #contentlevy in the Irish Film and TV production sector and why we are calling on the Government to introduce the levy to Ireland without delay.

The legislation that will allow the Government to introduce the levy is currently being debate in the Oireachtas so it is a key time to be hosting a discussion on the levy. We are keen to have your support as part of this campaign, so join the webinar to learn more about the levy and how you can support our campaign.
 
Indecon economic consultants have advised that the levy could bring an extra €25M into the sector in its first year, and this will only grow as more services come into the market place and add subscribers.
