Fishamble have launched a brand-new call-out for short plays as part of The Navigator Project, a collaboration with health researchers Profs Joe Gallagher and Mark Ledwidge.

This initiative invites writers to explore the intersections of health, culture, and creativity, and to respond to how marginalisation can shape health inequalities. The Navigator Project seeks bold, thought-provoking new writing that looks at the ways science and cross-cultural understanding can help us imagine healthier, more connected futures.

Each commissioned playwright will receive a commission fee of €2,000, and their play will be developed through meetings with Fishamble in November 2025
