'I Can't Go On' receives its UK premiere at the LOCO London Comedy Film Festival.

Laoisa Sexton’s Screen Ireland produced Focus short film I Can’t Go On receives its UK premiere at the prestigious Bafta recognized LOCO London Comedy Film Festival, which runs May 8-11, 2025 and I Can’t Go On will be hitting the screens at the Ritzy Picturehouse in Brixton on May 11.  

This will be the film’s UK premiere.  

Described as an unsettling, anxious dark comedy surrealist escapist film, it tells the story of a kiddie’s party entertainer who must go to extraordinary heights to escape a house of horror.

Laoisa’s debut film I Didn’t… I Wasn’t… I Amn’t  screened there and The Lucky Man which won Best Short and Best Script at the festival in 2023.

The LOCO London Comedy Film Festival is the largest festival of funny cinema in the world and fast becoming a gathering place for comedy’s big players and London’s foremost celebration of funny films. For over a decade, it has been presenting the very best film comedies to London, championing the craft and skill of comedy writing and filmmaking and celebrating the UK’s rich comic heritage and humour from around the world.
