“The unlicensed use of creative works for training generative AI is a major, unjust threat to the livelihoods of the people behind those works, and must not be permitted.”

Over 13,500 creators have signed a statement issued this week on AI training.

“The unlicensed use of creative works for training generative AI is a major, unjust threat to the livelihoods of the people behind those works, and must not be permitted.”

Signatories include WGI Chair Jennifer Davidson, James Patterson, Björn Ulvaeus, Julianne Moore, Sir Kazuo Ishiguro, Thom Yorke and many more.
