The workshop is aimed at emerging writer/directors who are developing a new fiction project. 

Director’s Village is a 5-day on-site European residence training program to enhance and develop the skills of the directors-writers and help you prepare for your next (short film) project. During the Director’s Village you will learn and work on script development, director’s vision & directing actors with coaches during group sessions, networking events, and you will help each other to bring your projects further. The workshops will be held in English.  

The Director’s Village takes place during Euregion Film Forum Maastricht, the Netherlands with eight filmmakers from different countries selected to take part in the residence training program. 

Dates/Duration:

Director’s Village will run from March 5th – 10th 2025

Application Deadline: December 1st at 17.00
