Short Film Submissions for the 2024 GENERATION Fleadh are now officially open for films from all languages and age level. Best of all, it is free to submit. If you have made a film as part of a Foróige group, youth group, school, university, film club, etc., 2024 GENERATION Fleadh would especially love to hear from you.   

GENERATION Fleadh is the younger half of the Galway Film Fleadh for people aged 12 – 24.

The 2024 festival, which takes place from 23 – 26 October 2024, will comprise a 4-day event with film screenings and an educational film programme, an annual outreach programme in Galway City and County, collaborations with festivals and events including the European Film Academy (EFA), all informed by the youth voice through the GENERATION Fleadh Council and youth review panels. 

The deadline to submit your short film is Monday, 9 September 2024 at 17:00 G.M.T.
