Research project bringing together 28 film industry and research institutions from across Europe

CresCine is a Horizon Europe research project bringing together 28 film industry and research institutions from across Europe, including Cannes Film Festival’s Marché du Film, the European Film Academy, and in Ireland, the Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dún Laoghaire (IADT) and Screen Producers Ireland. Thee objective is to enhance the competitiveness of the film industry in small EU countries by comparing markets, policies and strategies in Lithuania, Estonia, Belgium (Flanders), Croatia, Portugal, Denmark, and Ireland.

This survey is designed by the Baltic Film and Creative Tech Cluster to identify best practices in adapting to COVID-19, formulate policy recommendations for industry resilience, and explore pathways to sustainable growth in European cinema.

Taking this 10 minutes survey will help collect invaluable information on the Irish Film sector and understand how everyone coped during the pandemic, and ultimately help better represent Ireland’s interests in this European-wide research project.

The survey is fully anonymous, but you can opt for leaving your email address at the end of the questionnaire if you are interested in doing a follow-up interview with a CresCine researcher at a later stage.
