Serial Eyes prepares the next generation of European TV writers/producers to bring first-class stories to the screens. The core of the program is not just about creating an original TV drama series but also about developing the ability to collaborate effectively within the Writers’ Room model, as well as how to organize a successful and productive Writer’s Room.

Serial Eyes is a full-time, residential postgraduate course that runs from September through May and takes place in Berlin. Participants must be present for the full duration of the programme. The programme includes seminars, workshops, masterclasses, writers’ rooms, and multiple feedback sessions. Participants have the chance to build successful working relationhips not only with their classmates but, over the course of the nine months, they will meet up to 50 top class industry professionals – each of them a potential collaborator in he future. Students will have at least two study trips: one to the Séries Mania festival in Lille (France) and another to meet with writers, producers and broadcasters in one other important European city.
