Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival, which has presented the best in local and international arts for over 20 years, has announced new Bursary awards for artists working in Music, Theatre, Visual Art and Literature.

Some of this work will be premiered at the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival in May 2024.

Theatre Bursary – £2,000 x2
Music Bursary – £16,000 – (16 individual awards)
Visual Arts Bursary – £2,000
Literature Bursary – £2,000

Theatre Bursary

The Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival Theatre Bursary is designed to support the presentation of theatre production as part of the 24th Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival (2-12 May 2024) or Out to Lunch in January 2025. This can be a new or existing text and is open to established or emerging theatre makers.

Deadline for Submissions: Friday 16th February 2024 at 5 pm.
