If you are already working in the live action or animation industry, this new initiative from the NTA Film & TV and NTA Animation aims to support you in transfer, upskill and/or make a career move from your current area of expertise to take part in your first project as short film as a Writer or Director.   
 

The National Talent Academies Short Film Fund is targeted at practitioners who wish to learn additional skills or move into a different role as a Writer or Director.  It is underpinned by a €13,000 fund that will provide the filmmaking team with carefully tailored mentoring, training, and workshops delivered by experienced industry professionals over the course of a year.  This scheme is heavily focused on skills development and supporting you in expanding your skillset, enabling you to take on new, key roles in the film/TV and animation industry. 

The National Talent Academies Short Film Fund is now open and closes on February 5th at 3PM.

It is recommended that all applicants take part in an online information session via Zoom on January 19th at approx. 5.30PM. The deadline to RSVP for the information session is Jan 18th at 3PM
