The WGI would like to extend an invitation to women WGI members of every background to an online event “Moving Up” this Tuesday, December 5th from 12:30 pm – 14:00 pm.

Too often women writers find themselves stuck at the lowest rung of the ladder without a clear way to move up. This panel discussion will explore how to turn opportunities into a sustainable career, and how to navigate the pitfalls and roadblocks that you may face. This event is open to all women members of the WGI including trans women and those who are nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and any others who experience womanhood in a way that is significant to them.

We will also provide support on a case-by-case basis for those whose caring responsibilities would otherwise prevent them from taking part. If you wish to avail of this support, please email [email protected] in advance of the event.
