Channel 4 series Derry Girls, written by Lisa McGee, has been nominated for three 2023 International Emmy Awards.

Lisa McGee’s series has been nominated for the Best Scripted Comedy and writer Lisa McGee has received a nomination in the craft category for best Comedy Writer and Siobhán McSweeney has been nominated in the Female Performance in a Comedy Programme as Sister Michael.

Winners will be announced at the 51st International Emmy Awards Gala in New York City, on Monday, November 20, 2023.
