MoLI is now taking applications from writers to avail of the Writers Room at MoLI. 

Situated in a beautiful, light-filled Georgian parlour overlooking the museum’s gardens from the first floor of the museum buildings at the UCD Naughton Joyce Centre on St Stephen’s Green, this tranquil and secluded creative space will be timetabled exclusively for writers’ use 7 days-a-week, providing a much-needed retreat in a city that is fast becoming unaffordable for artists.

Writers can enjoy this quiet, undisturbed place to write in the centre of the city, with discounted access to MoLI’s café, and the welcoming, supportive environment of the museum and its staff.

The room is available seasonally to writers on application, without charge, for 4 hours per day, 7 days per week over a consecutive period of 3 months.
