Green Curtain Theatre are offering writers with an Irish heritage the opportunity to have their writing performed. This is as part of their latest theatre project to mark the centenary of the ending of the Civil War in Ireland in May 1923

The competition is open to anyone over 18 resident in the Great Britain who has a parent, grandparent, or great grandparent who was born and lived in Ireland in the last 100 years.

Entries must be written in the first person and be no longer than 300 words.

The competition is free to enter.

The name and contact details of the writer must be written on a page separate to the entry.

Deadline for entries is midnight on Sunday 16th July 2023

Winners will be notified by the end of August 2023.
