Ann Henning Jocelyn’s play The Sphere of Light will premiere at the Hever Castle Theatre Festival in August this year.
In The Sphere of Light, humour and pathos pursue the unknown nephew of Mary and Anne, as he explores the well-kept secrets of the Boleyn women. Unfolding like a detective story, his findings add a novel slant to the gruesome fate that befell the family, dispelling popular myths of sexual obsession, ruthless ambition, megalomania, or insanity.
Ann Henning Jocelyn gave up a promising academic career in her native Sweden for work in the London Theatre. Married to a Boleyn descendant, she now lives in the West of Ireland, writing books and plays that are published and performed internationally.
