In The Sphere of Light, humour and pathos pursue the unknown nephew of Mary and Anne, as he explores the well-kept secrets of the Boleyn women. Unfolding like a detective story, his findings add a novel slant to the gruesome fate that befell the family, dispelling popular myths of sexual obsession, ruthless ambition, megalomania, or insanity.

Ann Henning Jocelyn gave up a promising academic career in her native Sweden for work in the London Theatre. Married to a Boleyn descendant, she now lives in the West of Ireland, writing books and plays that are published and performed internationally. Details of her work can be seen at annhenningjocelyn.com.
