Dead Centre are seeking an Associate Artist to work closely with the company over a variety of activities in 2022. It is a paid position, ideally suited for a theatre maker at the start of their career. It is envisaged to run from March 2022 until the end of the year, but there will be flexibility. As well as helping to deliver Dead Centre’s programme of work, you will be given opportunities to observe the workings of the company, and feed into the strategic decisions made over the year.

The fee is €5,500. In addition, a stipend of €2,000 will also be paid towards the development of your own project over the year.

Dead Centre are looking for a theatre maker at the start of their career – the ideal candidate might be a director, but equally could be a writer, performer or choreographer. What is important is that you are interested to learn more about running a company and creating original projects.
