Fill out the membership application form completely and enter your payment details.

Submit your application. Your application will be assessed. If approved, payment for your first year will be taken from your card.

If you previously had a membership with the Writers Guild, please do not register again.

Instead, click the Sign in link above and then use the Lost Password feature to reset the password to your account.

You're eligible to apply for... Associate membership

Associate membership of the WGI is open to all professional writers on the island of Ireland, who are working on getting their first scriptwriting credit.

Alongside all member benefits, Associate Members can attend our AGM, but cannot vote or stand for election to our board.

For writers who have yet to obtain a professional scriptwriting credit for produced work

You're eligible to apply for... Full membership

Full Membership of the WGI is open to all professional writers on the island of Ireland, with at least one professional scriptwriting credit, for which they received a contract and were paid.

Alongside all member benefits, Full Membership status entitles you to vote at our AGM and stand for election to our board.

For writers earning up to €5,000 a year from their writing
