100 pages in 10 weeks: Screenwriting Workshop

Award-winning producer and BAFTA member Carl Schoenfeld is running this popular screenwriting workshop for the 24th time this October. Aimed at writers with experience in characterisation, structure and genre, the workshop starts with a discussion of the beat sheet as a foundation to map out the story. Film writer participants then submit 10 pages each week towards a film script, whilst TV writers set out characters, story world and episode structure before writing a pilot. Attendees engage in “table reads” of everyone’s creative work, leading to both nurturing and challenging feedback. Writers we worked with got into prestigious festival labs, had work optioned and produced including on BBC and Netflix.
