Cine Qua Non Lab has announced the call for applicants of its 2023 Script Revision Lab for narrative feature films.

The Script Revision Lab is a residential workshop that gives independent

filmmakers from around the world the opportunity to work intensively on their feature‐length narrative scripts in an environment structured to foster professional collaboration and high-quality script development.

The Script Revision Lab will take place in Tzintzuntzan, a small town in the state of Michoacán, Mexico, approximately 50 km from the city of Morelia. The workshop, writing, and living spaces are tucked amidst the beauty of the Sierra Madre Mountains, overlooking Lake Pátzcuaro, a quiet natural retreat.

The lab will be held from Wednesday, August 2nd, through Monday, August 14th, and an online follow up module in November, 2023.

Writers or writer/directors from around the world developing a narrative feature film are eligible to apply. 

Applications will only be accepted for completed scripts that are ready for the revision process. Professional filmmakers from around the world developing a narrative feature film are eligible to apply.
