Martin McDonagh Wins BAFTA for Outstanding Best Original Screenplay
Martin McDonagh was awarded a BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay for The Banshees of Inisherin, which also took the award for Outstanding British Film. Kerry Condon and Barry Keoghan won in the Supporting Actress and Actor categories for their roles in the film.
An Irish Goodbye won British Short Film written and directed by Tom Berkeley and Ross White. VFX artist Richard Baneham shared the Visual Effects prize for Avatar: The Way of Water.
