SINEAD STIMPFIG
Sinéad Stimpfig is the Head of Commissioning at Virgin Media Television. She is responsible for shaping and implementing VMTV’s commissioning strategy across all genres for all platforms. Since joining VMTV in 2020, she has commissioned international drama co-productions, such as Dead & Buried and Faithless. She has championed new Irish formats, including The Clinic for Well People and Help Me Buy a Home and delivered groundbreaking factual series, such as The Guards and The Brain Doctors. Before joining VMTV, Sinéad worked as a freelancer for over 15 years, producing hit series, such as Operation Transformation, Daniel and Majella’s B&B Road Trip and Super Garden.
FRANK AGNEW
Frank Agnew – Drama Development Executive for RTÉ. Twenty-five years in the television industry in both the UK and Ireland. Involved in multiple series for RTÉ, including Kin, Hidden Assets, The Walsh Sisters and Obituary. Primary focus on evaluating and developing both new and established drama projects for primetime slots. Also, Executive Producer of the Storyland series, searching for new, emerging writing, producing and directing talent.
MÁIRE NÍ CHONLÁIN
In her wide-ranging TV career, Máire has worked across development, production, and acquisitions of scripted and unscripted programming. Beginning her career in the free-lance sector as producer/director, Máire joined TG4 as commissioning editor in 2000. Máire is responsible for history documentaries both hour and feature length and oversees a slate of output deals. She also co-commissions all drama (Cine 4, Tús, Céim Eile & Gealán) for TG4 and was the executive producer for An Cailín Ciúin which was Oscar nominated in 2023.
JASON BUTLER
Jason is a Commissioning Editor for BBC Northern Ireland specialising in Comedy. Before starting in this role Jason directed, co-wrote, and produced 4 series of the RTÉ sitcom “Bridget & Eamon”. He won two IFTA awards for the show – Best Director and Best Comedy. His other work includes factual entertainment comedy series “The 2 Johnnies Take On…” and “The 2 Johnnies Do America 2” for RTÉ, “The Paddy Raff Show” and “Paddy & Nigel’s Tourist Trap” for BBC NI, and 80 episodes of RTÉ’s “Republic of Telly”.
