We are asking all writers to email their TDs to support the urgent implementation of the AVMS levy—a vital step towards fairer funding for Irish film, television, and animation. This levy would require streaming platforms to reinvest a small percentage of their revenue into local content. It’s already in place in 16 other European countries—Ireland is falling behind.

The AVMS levy would mean:

• More jobs for writers
• Increased investment in Irish storytelling
• A stronger, more sustainable industry
