GENERATION Fleadh is the youth branch of the Galway Film Fleadh for people aged 12 – 24 taking place in October 2026.

GENERATION Fleadh consists of three short film programmes:  

• Gearrscannáin: Dedicated to screening new Irish language short films.  
• GENERATION Shorts: Showcasing the best films created by young people and curated by young people.  
• World Shorts: Showcasing films from young people or about young people from around the globe
