ITV Academy is inviting new and emerging writers to help shape some of Britain’s most iconic streets and villages through the Continuing Drama Writers Initiative.

This three-month, full-time paid development opportunity offers experience within the storytelling worlds of Coronation Street or Emmerdale. Participants will work alongside storyliners, writers and script editors, contributing to multi-episode storylines and helping to craft stories for established series.

The programme is based in Manchester or Leeds, with a closing date of 2 July.
