To our dear members,

I’m sure you’ll all join me in extending a warm and heartfelt welcome to our new admin and communications assistant, Beatrix Herriott O’Gorman, who will be joining us next week. Beatrix brings a wealth of experience to the role and will be managing our social media as well as tackling some long-mooted surveys and projects that will help deepen our understanding of our members’ needs. We’re all absolutely buzzed to have her on board.

And here’s a date for your diaries: 2pm on Tuesday 30th June, when we will be holding our 2026 AGM in the Hyatt Centric in the Liberties. We would really, really love to have a veritable swarm / shoal / murder of writers there on the day. We’ll give further details of the agenda and lineup nearer the time.

Finally, in the unlikely event that this fine weather continues, please do remember to take a break from your computers and step out into the sunshine. Your bodies and minds will thank you for it.
