Coimisiún na Meán is calling for applications for the first ‘Shared Island Shared Stories’ funding round. The funding round, operated under An Coimisiún’s Sound & Vision Scheme and part of the Shared Island Media Fund, is for broadcasters and independent producers and will support the creation of high-quality programming for television and radio that promotes cultural exchange, exploration of the island’s heritage and cross-border collaboration.

Funding of €14 million for Coimisiún na Meán’s Shared Island Media Fund is provided by the Government’s Shared Island Initiative. €4 million of the Fund will be made available for this round of the ‘Shared Island Shared Stories’ initiative.

Prospective applicants can access the relevant Guides and Forms for Round 60 via www.cnamonline.ie . All applications must be submitted via www.cnamonline.ie. This round closes at 12 noon on Thursday, 02 July 2026. Decisions are expected by the end of September 2026.
