A bold, modern reimagining of Ulysses unfolds through a rapid succession of over 75 international actors who bring the characters encountered by Leopold Bloom on June 16, 1904. This experimental film was made entirely during the first lockdown for charity, but was subsequently invited to screen at the IFI in Dublin as part of the centenary in 2022 where they noted: ” The resulting compendium of intimate, minutely nuanced performances is, surprisingly, deeply cinematic and as provocative as the book on which it is based. The cast includes Patrick Bergin, Olwen Fouéré, Hazel Doupe, Nick Lee, Paula Meehan, Theo Dorgan and Barry Ward amongst other luminaries from stage and screen including an appearance by Shane MacGowan!.
