The guidelines for application to the Basic Income for the Arts scheme have been published – and we would very much encourage you all to apply.

The portal opens today, 15th April, but do please check out the guidelines and eligibility requirements as soon as you can. This will give you the time and headspace you need to gather and compile all the required information.

As you can see, “three approved proofs” of your professional artistic practice are required, and full membership of the WGIis one valid form. There is also a “recent graduates” strand with less stringent criteria that some associate members may be eligible for.
