The Dublin International Film Festival returns this week running 19th February to 1st March 2026 celebrating the very best of Irish and international filmmaking.

The festival will present 83 films, featuring 17 world premieres and 53 short films, including a record number of 26 Irish features and documentaries, 17 of which make their world premiere, alongside a range of talks, panels, workshops networking opportunities and conversations with festival guests.

The festival opens with the world premiere of David Gleeson’s Once Upon A Time In A Cinema, a joyous and heartfelt celebration of the enduring magic of cinema.
