THE CLINIC — SERIES 5 — RTÉ 1
- Ep 1 — Lin Coughlan — RTÉ 1
Dan is back with a second chance after surgery but his life is thrown into turmoil when he discovers Cathy is pregnant. It's a tumultuous start for the couple but they finally come together as one and look forward to their future. Cathy is now monitoring Clodagh's every step after her potentially life-threatening diagnosis and this causes tension for Clodagh. Daisy moves in with Conor and starts a relationship with Adam. - Ep 2 — Brian Lynch — RTÉ 1
Liam's son Ian wants the morning after pill for a girl he had unprotected sex with but, when Liam calls her parents, he is stunned to hear that she claims Ian raped her. Meanwhile, Keelin returns to The Clinic from the U.S. a married woman. Julia's ex Harry arrives back on the scene and Ed changes his mind about selling his half of the building to Cathy and puts it on the market. - Ep 3 — Peter McKenna — RTÉ 1
Julia is tempted by her ex-husband Harry's overtures to win her back — until she discovers that he has cancer. Dr. Lorcan O'Brien buys Ed's half of the practice and building which annoys Dan. Dan finally goes back to work at the Vico and repairs a knife wound scar on Keith Reid. - Ep 4 — Ali White — RTÉ 1
Clodagh's birth mother Carol comes to see her with news that her husband Tom is on the warpath and looking for Clodagh's father, Frederick. Upset, Clodagh turns Carol away but later at The Clinic Tom shows up and won't leave until Clodagh hears him out. He becomes physically threatening and Lorcan has to step in to remove him from the premises. Meanwhile, Lorcan ruffles more feathers at a management meeting by proposing that a methadone clinic be run on the Clarence St. premises. Dan is incensed to then find Lorcan moving into the basement flat. A troubled teenager makes Patrick doubt whether he's the right man to counsel her while his relationship with Bernie suffers as a result. Keelin is delighted when Ronan gets his dream-job with the ERU. Cara discovers that money has gone missing from petty-cash. - Ep 5 — Edel Brosnan & Vicki Madden — RTÉ 1
Daisy's close friendship with Conor seems increasingly difficult for Adam to accept. But how will Daisy react when Conor admits that he is in love with her? Meanwhile, Cara marks some notes in the petty-cash box with nail polish to get to the bottom of who is stealing the cash. Elsewhere, Dan has another run-in with new doctor, Lorcan, over one of his methadone patients. Paul discovers he has Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) — a clogging of the arteries that could cause a heart attach at any time — a diagnosis that causes dis-harmony in Ronan and Keelin's relationship. - Ep 6 — Anne Marie Casey — RTÉ 1
Liam dramatically kicks Cara out of the house when he finds out that she gave his son Ian's girlfriend Lucy the morning-after pill. Clodagh and Keelin are not on speaking terms because of Paul Dunne's legal action against Clodagh. Meanwhile, Cathy diagnosis Cara's friend Mary with clinical bulimia. Elsewhere, Aine is accused of taking petty cash causing her to step down as practice manager. Lorcan eventually finds out that the petty-cash culprit is actually his sister Alice who is back using again. - Ep 7 — Lin Coughlan — RTÉ 1
Daisy and Cara vie for the position of Practice Manager, while two suitors — Conor and Adam — compete for Daisy's affections. Meanwhile, Dan has an uncomfortable run-in with Emer — his nearly one-night stand — outside the Clinic and finds out that she is one of Lorcan's free-clinic patients. Elsewhere, Patrick asks Bernie to move in with him. - Ep 8 — Glen Dolmen — RTÉ 1
Bernie moves in with Patrick, but she soon realises that he isn't ready to co-habit. Meanwhile, new practice manager Cara struggles to cope without a receptionist and Kieran cannot cope without Molly and leaves baby Hope with Cathy. Elsewhere, Dan and Cathy look at a property in the country and Emer has delusions over her relationship with Dan. - Ep 9 — Lauren MacKenzie — RTÉ 1
Lorcan's sister Alice, who's back using drugs again, begs Lorcan to help her go 'cold turkey'. Although Lorcan knows it's ethically inadvisable to treat his own sister, he reluctantly agrees to help Alice — on condition that she be locked in the flat. No-one at The Clinic can find out what they are up to. Lorcan is so preoccupied with keeping the whole thing quite that he prescribes the wrong medication to a patient with almost disastrous results, not to mention what happens when Alice collapses at the reception desk. - Ep 10 — John Moloney — RTÉ 1

THE IT CROWD — CH 4
- Ep 1: THE WORK OUTING — Graham Linehan — CH 4
When Jen is asked to the theatre for a date, Moss and Roy invite themselves along, then make her doubt the heterosexuality of her date. She wonders further when the play turns out to be a production of "Gay! - A Gay Musical", during which Moss and Roy are mistaken for a couple during the audience participation segment. At intermission, neither Roy nor Moss are able to use the toilets because of an attendant, so they use the disabled and staff facilities (respectively) and are forced to adopt appropriate identities when caught. In the end, Jen confronts her date about his heterosexuality because of the play they just saw, and he tries to cover it up by saying you don't have to be gay to like a gay musical. However, when Jen mentions how he wanted to read a copy of Heat, he then buckles and comes out about his homosexuality, saying he hoped a relationship with Jen would work because she looked like a man. - Ep 2: RETURN OF THE GOLDEN CHILD — Graham Linehan — CH 4
Roy buys a new mobile phone with lots of features, but a weak vibrate setting, so Moss offers to "pimp it out" for him, where he sets the vibrate setting up so high that they decide to put it in their pants and let it vibrate for fun. At the same time, Moss is subjecting Roy to an online quiz about his general health and well being, which tells him he is going to die Thursday at 3pm. When Denholm commits suicide during a meeting, his funeral is set for Thursday at 3pm. Before the funeral, Denholm's successor reveals that he despises the IT department and wants nothing more than to fire them. Moments before Denholm's successor goes through with his termination of the IT department, Denholm's estranged son—and rightful successor—Douglas bursts into the funeral and takes over the company, thereby saving their jobs and firing Denholm's original successor. The episode ends with Roy and Moss giving Douglas Roy's phone, and having him let it vibrate in his pants (which takes him "almost to the station"). - Ep 3: MOSS AND THE GERMAN — Graham Linehan — CH 4
Moss tries to liven up his life by enrolling in a German cookery course. It turns out that the German is actually a cannibal seeking someone willing to be eaten (a parody of the Armin Meiwes incident) and the advertisement contained some fairly important translation errors. Meanwhile, Roy is trying to watch a pirated DVD, and after a couple of failed attempts volunteers to be the German cannibal's next meal in order to watch it on his impressively large home entertainment system. In a separate subplot, Jen, now a smoker again, finds the company smoking area reminiscent to the atmosphere of a Communist regime (in a parody of bleak and melodramatic Dr Zhivago-style films). - Ep 4: THE DINNER PARTY — Graham Linehan — CH 4
Jen and her new boyfriend, Peter File, are hosting a dinner party for six of their single friends. However all of the men are unable to come at the last minute and Jen invites Roy, Moss, and Richmond to take their places. Moss pairs up with the first of the three single female friends, and the two of them inadvertently start acting as if they're married. Richmond unexpectedly hits it off with the second of Jen's friends. And Roy learns that the third friend was once a model, but her face is presently obscured by bandages. As such, Roy can't tell if she's still as beautiful as she used to be, which affects his decision about whether or not to ask her out. - Ep 5: SMOKE AND MIRRORS — Graham Linehan — CH 4
When Jen wears a "bad bra" to work, Moss overcomes his usual sensitivity to ladies' undergarments and designs the "ultimate" bra. Fearing retribution from established bra companies, he adopts a pseudonym that he often confuses. As the design goes forward both Jen and Roy have to help him get ready to pitch his invention to venture capitalists on Dragons' Den. And Moss, whilst waiting to do a TV interview for the bra, confuses his pseudonym with the name of a spokesman for the Ministry of Defence, ending up on a television news interview discussing Iraq. - Ep 6: MEN WITHOUT WOMEN (AKA The JOY OF SEX) — Graham Linehan — CH 4
After a lengthy campaign of pointless phone calls to the basement, Douglas finally offers Jen a position as his Personal Assistant. She accepts the position, having recently realized she's wasting her life in the position she's in, which leaves the guys with free rein to wreak havoc in the basement (including not wearing pants, and playing a form of golf where Roy would attempt to hit a golf ball into Moss' mouth). Douglas, however, spends the bulk of his time with Jen attempting to bed her.
