IPSG LogoThe 16th Annual General Meeting of the Writers’ Guild of Ireland will take place at at 5.00 pm on Wednesday, 19 September 2018 in Room ‘Number 26’, Trinity City Hotel, Pearse Street, Dublin 2.

Nominations to vacant places on the Board of Directors, proposed by a member entitled to vote at the AGM, together with a note of consent to be so nominated from the nominee, should reach the Company Secretary at Arthouse, Curved Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2 not later than 5.00 pm on 17 September 2018.

A form of proxy has been sent to members via e-mail, as laid out in Clause 28 of the Articles of Association of the company, which may be used if a member is unable to attend the AGM. Completed proxy forms should reach the Company Secretary at Arthouse, Curved Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2 by 5.00 pm on 17 September 2018.

Additional copies sent by post may be requested at the office at the address above.

Prior to the AGM, at 4.00 pm in the same venue, Screen Ireland’s three project managers, Dearbhla Regan, Lesley McKimm, and Celine Haddad, will meet with WGI members to discuss Screen Ireland’s funding schemes, including recent changes to the Screenplay Development scheme.

The Writers’ Guild encourages members to attend the AGM and contribute their ideas, views, and feedback to the staff and directors of the Guild, and to meet other Guild members who will be present.

ZeBBie Awards Ceremony

The 2016 ZeBBie Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 25 May 2016 in The Sugar Club, 8 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin 2, and it will be hosted by Senator David Norris.

Doors open at 7.30pm, and the ceremonies begin at 8.00pm.

The ceremony is free to fully paid up members of the Guild.

Dress Code: writer chic.

Voting

Voting is now open and Guild members should have received an email with details on how to vote.

Voting closes at 3pm on Friday, 22 April 2016.

2014 AGM

Writers Guild of IrelandWe’d like to remind all members that our Annual General Meeting will take place at 2.30 pm on Saturday June 14th at The Connection Suite, The Morgan Hotel, Temple Bar, Dublin 2.

Nominations to vacant places on the Board of Directors, proposed by a member entitled to vote at the AGM, together with a note of consent to be so nominated from the nominee, should reach the Company Secretary at Arthouse, Curved Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2 not later than 5.00pm on the 11th June, 2014.

All members should have received a form of proxy in case they cannot attend the AGM. Completed proxy forms should reach the WGI at Arthouse, Curved Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2 by 5.00pm on the 12th June, 2014.

ZeBBie Awards Ceremony

The winners will be announced at the ZeBBie Awards Ceremony on Thursday, 10th May 2012, at the Sugar Club, in Dublin. Doors open at 7.30pm, and the ceremonies begin at 8.00pm.

Tickets

Ticket(s) for the awards ceremony may be purchased online. Tickets cost €15 for IPSG members, and €25 for non-members. Ticket price includes food and entertainment.

Purchased tickets can be collected at the Sugar Club door on the evening of the Awards Ceremony.

Numbers are limited, so please book tickets quickly. Tickets may be available for purchase at the door on the night, subject to availability.

No one will be admitted to the Awards Ceremony without a ticket.
