Biography
Grew up in Dundrum, now living in Rathfarnham, Dublin with my wife and two daughters. Bilingual writer (Irish and English). Most of what I have written relates to people who are on the margins in some way. Main sources of inspiration are Dublin City and the Aran Islands.

  2. “ A Dublin Story”  (Writer)  RTE/ FilmBase short 2003. Joint winner of Tiernan McBride award, Galway Film Fleadh 2003.  Winner best Short Foyle film festival 2003 (Nominated to 2004 Academy awards) Various awards in US festivals.

1. Ceathrar le ceithre Scór Commissioned under BCI ( “Sound and Vision”)scheme to Direct and Produce 4 x 30 minute Documentary programmes for Raidio na Life on four people over the age of 80 linked to the history of the state. (Broadcast April/ May 2008) 

2. “An Strainseir” Writer/ Director) Commissioned under BAI “Sound and Vision” scheme - 60 minute radio play in Irish (Raidio na Life August 2009 –First prize in “Craol” awards for all professionally commissioned drama in Community Radio)

3. "Níl tú ag siúl amach le lead ón Northside?" Joint First prize- Oireachtas Literary Competitions –October 2006 -  Broadcast in 2009 on RTE

4. "An tAthair Seosamh Mallin - Páiste na Réábhlóide" Commissioned under BCI ( “Sound and Vision”)scheme. One hour Documentary on Fr. Joseph Mallin son of the 1916 leader Michael Mallin. September 2010 Raidio na Life
