Biography
AUDREY O REILLY
WRITER / DIRECTOR PROFILE A graduate of the National Film School of Ireland, Audrey O’Reilly’s short films have screened in festivals from Aspen, to Edinburgh to Cannes with ‘In Loving Memory’ winning the Prix du Public at the prestigious Clermont Ferrand Short Film Festival. Her short ‘Clare sa Speir’ has been included on the Irish Leaving Certificate syllabus for the last ten years while ‘Teenage Cics’, a six part tv drama series she co-wrote and directed, for TG4 was voted one of its top three dramas ever. She is presently developing a number of screenplays and tv series including ‘Lockerbie’ a feature film about the 1988 air disaster, slated to be directed by acclaimed director Jim Sheridan as well a script about composer Antonio Vivaldi, to be directed by Oscar winning director Bille August. She is also developing a feature ‘Miles to Go’ with Festival Films which she has written and will direct herself. Credits
