Applications for membership
MEMBERSHIP
The membership year runs from January to December, and there are two categories:
Associate
Writers who have not been contracted to write for payment. Associate members may attend the Annual
General Meeting, but cannot stand for election or vote.
Fee: €50.
Full
Writers who have been contracted to write for payment in Ireland for the stage, screen, radio or digital media. Full membership includes all entitlements to attend the AGM, vote and stand for election.
Fee: based on earnings from writing during the previous year.

NEW MEMBERS
To join fill out the online application. If you join after March of any given year, please determine your fee on a pro rata basis, i.e. for Associate Members that would be: half-year €25.00, quarter-year €12.50, etc. New Full Members should determine their fee in the same way, based on the chart above. To pay via PayPal please fill in the appropriate amount.
PAYMENT
- Members can pay via PayPal, or send a cheque or postal order for the correct amount to: Irish Playwrights and Screenwriters Guild, Art House, Curved Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2. Cash payments can be made to our office in person. We issue receipts and membership cards by post to all members. If you have any queries do not hesitate to contact us.
