Script Space

The Tobacco Factory Theatre, Bristol, in association with the Bristol Festival of Ideas, is on the hunt for new theatre writing and for writers who could benefit from a range of new, nurturing initiatives supported by the theatre. The scheme is called Script Space.

They are looking for playwrights who are open to collaboration, with an engaging message and the creative talent to put this across in a unique way.

Send new, unperformed scripts (one per applicant), from 15 minutes to an hour in length, to Sophie Lomax at scriptspace@tobaccofactory.com.

Please submit single attachments of one Word or PDF document (no titles, CVs or synopses on separate documents) with your name and play title in the subject box.

Deadline: Mon 31 January 2011.

More information about the competition is available on the web site.
