Centre for Creative PracticesThe Centre for Creative Practices is a cultural venue in the city centre of Dublin which features a multicultural and multidisciplinary approach.

The CfCP is establishing the Creative Café, a gathering on the third Tuesday of every month. It will have a leaning towards the new/experimental/interactive/fringe/underground and any kind of interesting artistic activities with a particular focus on presenting work to audiences and other artists, building new relationships, exchanging ideas, hearing leading creators talk about their projects, presenting submissions for the CFCP Call for Artists and taking part in discussions on various creative topics.

The first meeting will take place at 7:30pm on the 25th January 2011.

The opening event will feature .move, which presents 16 current works of 21 young and leading European media artists: video installations, interactive virtual environments, performances, and an Opera Digitale. The works were produced from 2008 to 2009 within the scope of the European Media Artists in Residence Exchange (EMARE) programme at the organisations Impakt (Netherlands), InterSpace (Bulgaria), VIVID (Great Britain) and Werkleitz (Germany).

Admission is €5 for members and €7.50 for non members.
